Default Front Grille Insert?

Hello All,

I am new to the site, just bought a 2000 Blk/Blk SS and I took off the Billet grille, cause it was ugly and cheaply made and the grille insert behind it is pretty beat up so it look terrible. I want to get the Grille Insert that I remember from a few years ago; the one where it is solid in the center and then has the two big holes on either side, it is usually apinted the same color as the car and looks awesome. I check SLP, RKSport, I can't find it anywhere. Someone please help point me in the right direction. Thanks.

Sounds like you are describing the RKsport one to me even though you said you checked there.

That one?

I can only assume that you could find a way to take them out, but I don't have any personal experience with this grill.

how does that grill attach to the car. I have one and it has no fasteners or holes to secure it to the nose.

it stays on with screws/fastners. -if you look at the picture, you can see the fastner in the hole on the left

probably one on each side, and two up top.

Some people have just removed the grill altogether then had the holes filled in.
