New theme - What color for calipers?

New theme - What color for calipers? I have a Silver T/A and I used to have 30th anniv blue deacals for the "Trans Am", "Ram Air", the rear "PONTIAC", my calipers, and the front bird. I removed all of that and as you can see in my other post I am going for a "smoother" look.

I also took off my Vette wheels for a set of Forgeline RS's.
I want your opinion on what I should do with my calipers. Polish, black, silver, red? Steve, Andy, Mark, etc.. I would like your opinions as well as others. <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

I need to do this one of these days. Also need
to repaint my new rotors, as they are already
rusting horribly where the brake cleaner removed
some of the factory paint <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" />
I'm to busy working on my friends house on the weekends
though, so who knows when it will be.

He's the one who helped me out with installing my

Re: New theme - What color for calipers? i vote for black as well, i just painted my back ones black 2 days ago, and love the way it turned out (stock red, 98 WS6 Ta)
I am debating what to do on the fronts, if i should paint them, or powdercoat them, or upgrade to the C5 calipers/larger rotors

Ryan I was going to have mine powder coated also but you have to rebuild them. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" /> I just taped them off and brushed high temp paint on, then sprayed VHT 1500 clear ( great stuff! ) I've coated all my exhaust systems inside and out with it and they hold up nice.
I like the Forgelines too! I can't wait to see what they look like once I actually get my car off of jackstands. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" />

Re: New theme - What color for calipers? I'm gunna paint my brackets silver but keep my calipers red. I'm gunna work on a silver on red theme. I was gunna say you should try red on silver but that black looks really good.
I like that idea of coating the exhaust with that paint. I think I might try that.... when I finally get all my other projects done and get to work on the ta some.
