Re: Strobe lights on a WS6
I say go for the white or the Blue HID look. NOT THE BRIGHT UGLY BLUE.
Having it look like the HID Xennon 'Look' , just like a cop car (or maybe a real HID system if you have the money) would make the car look very professional. Other colors like red or yellow... ummm are not too professional and dont really look that good in my opinion.
I hate to come up and tell you whats ricey and whats not but when you have red strobe lights I can see where the 'rice' comments are coming from.
Just my 2 cents.
Also having them on the fog lights is a great idea.
In my opinion I think if you have the front signals, fogs, back signals, and the reverse light it would look really awesome . That way you'd have 8 lights doing what you want. Anything more than that is too much and anything less than that is not as good. Again, thats just my opinion.
Good luck!
Let us know what you decide on doing.

How about placing a clear strobe in each turn signal, fog light, and backup light (in adition to the existing lights of course). That way they are pretty much hidden and cover all corners of the car when they are on.

Yeah it would be fine. The side markers would end up flashing amber/red because of the lens. So its ok that the tail lights would flash red (also because of the lens). Thats why I suggested using clear strobes and hiding them in the turns, fogs (or DRLs), and tails.

I have thought of adding strobe lights to my Firehawk, in the same pattern as the Daytona CE Pace Car for shows. I always thought it would look cool! Only question, though. Who sells these type of strobe lights?

Re: Strobe lights on a WS6
bottom line is if youwant them the go out and get what you want, you are the only one who has to like the way your car looks, you are the only one making the payments for it. i think that strobes are great. they will not be seen unless you want them to be seen. i have some in the high beams of my Z. it is really just what you like.

Re: Strobe lights on a WS6
I almost know enough about this to ask...but does this just require some special wiring to make the existing lights strobe, or does it require adding new/different lights?

Re: Strobe lights on a WS6
well you need to get a switch panel which will cost you from 109.00 to 229.00. then you need the lights which run 60.00 to 194.00 a pair. then the power supply which run from 100.00 to 349.00.
