Has anyone painted the upper portion on the car black on a red Trans Am like this one? The yellow car is what Im talking about.

I think it looks great, but personally if I had a t/a that was any other color besides black I would leave the top the OE color.

Yes.... it has been done.... and I'm not really a fan of it.... but if you must... you should also make the mirrors black as well like the car above.

i agree. looks great on camaros... not so much on t/a's. i wouldn't say it looks bad, just better left body colored. yet for some reason, i love it on true CETA's . it just fits that car.

I think it was only LT1 Z28s that had the black top, but not V6s. As far as I know, the 97 Z28 didn't have it though.
