Tony, those wheels are great, but I think they would be prime if you painted the centers black or blue, to match the exterior paint! Just an idea. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

Why get the TA hatch on a Formula?? it kinda defeats the whole idea of having an understated car... I think thw WS6 Formula's were the best looking f-bodies ever made, and his looks just like one... badass as it is IMO

Can I drive it now? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Looks sweet. My friend has those on his car. I have to say that they look worlds better polished though, JMHO.

I think it needs darker spokes, like this! I know it's a cheap job, but what can you expect from MSPaint? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="gr_tounge.gif" />

Joe, you need to see the car in person. These pictures kinda suck because I just slapped them on and shot the photos. My car is lower now, it was high that day because it was sitting on a lift for 2 weeks and the coils had stretched out. Those Houston potholes helped fix the stretched coils in no time.

I plan on painting the car Admiral Blue (96 Grand Sport color) so I will be leaving the wheels silver/polished. Black spokes only look right on black cars to me, sorry. Here is a weak photoshop rendering of what it may look like once it is painted:

Tony....

Your Racing Hart M5s look look like crap!

You need to get a set of these babies if you want my opinion:

<img src="http://www.starwheel.com/cgif2/30spk.jpg" alt=" - " />

See, these guys here at LS1Tech like you more than they like me. I posted pictures of the wheels I am putting on my car, and all they did is belittle, degrade, and ridicul me!

Actually, the spokes are supposed to match the car. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> I know what you're saying Tony! Either way I like them, but that's just my opinion. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Get a set of ground control adjustible coil overs. Mark a height for drag tires, and mark a height for the street. When you go to the track, just dial up your rears for the slicks.

The bigger the rim, the lower the car needs to not have empty looking fenderwells IMO, and those 18's look rediculous on a car thats at that height.

Here, if you wanna see what its supposed to look like <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
http://home.austin.rr.com/jmx/c5/sideshot.jpg

Of course, it runs 12's like that, but its adjustible if I wanted to change it for the track.

Jon, I've got HALs all the way around. As I said in another reply above, my car isn't that high any more. The springs have settled since those photos were taken, they were stretched out from the car sitting on a lift for a few weeks.

My car isn't "ridiculous" looking either. Save your judgment until you see it in person. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" />

I could also say your Vette looks silly with Z06 sidescoops on a coupe <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="gr_tounge.gif" />

You post pics of it all looking jacked up, thats all I can go by. Sheesh.

You can say whatever you feel about the sidescoops. I still am undecided on them, but I didn't put them there nor would I have it it'd been my car a year ago. At least they are functional I guess. At least it doesnt have the rediculous trunk that a z06/FRC has. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />
