Default Finished Tach, radio delete, & wideband install

Took me a while, still need to get the car back together and troubleshoot some minor bugs. What do you think? The wideband on the steering column is a NGK AFX fyi..

and a blury shot of the backlights on.. dont pay attention to the third gauge over, its not connected yet.

looks serious, what is a wide band and what does it do? Do you drift? I want to start drifting so bad! I need to get a car and find some events!

the wideband monitors your air:fuel ratio (AFR). Will be used for tuning, was trying to find a good location for it, but that was the only real spot i could actually view while looking down the road. This car is being built for straight line.

If you like that stuff then you did a good job, but personally I can't stand a big 5in tach in F-bodys... The wideband right there is debatable but I would have put it somewhere else too. Again, if your into it, then it looks like you did a nice install, the rest is just my personal preference..

Yeah you either like it or you dont. Im personally not a FAN of the wideband on the steering column, but theres not a good spot you can mount this thing and have it be visible, i played with it behind the AC Vents, but you just cant see it. the "gauge" is pretty large, and its bigger than a box of playing cards.
i personally like 5" tachs.. but thats me.

Is the wideband gauge to big to put in the TCS switch area right under the ac vents? I've seen people do that with their scan gauge. Or what about the cubby down by the cig lighter?

Scan gauge (not my interior)

Cubby would have to be trimmed to and wouldnt fit very flush, the display is too big to fit in the TCS switch area, thats why i was thinking of putting it behind the vents, but you just cant read whats going on. Also was thinking of putting it on the a-pillar. im not 100% sure i like it on the steering column, because it IS bulky. but that spot is the only real spot i can see it without taking my eyes completely off the road

theres no need for a 5" tach... looks redneck.

just curious why you would get the bigass tach, when you alreayd have a bigass tach built in?
i can see if you replaced ALL the gauges and made a completely different console, or maybe that's the direction you're going. much like most of the others, not a fan of it, but more curious why the need for 2 tachs.
