Default CAMARO Chrome Inserts

just picked up my new black SS, and i would like some chrome inserts for the rear bumper. There are some on ebay for $8 or so, and others for $60+. What is the difference? Is it worth the extra $$ for the more expensive ones? Where did you get yours? Feel free to include pictures. Thanks

$8 = Vinyl decals. (sticker like)

$60 = quality emblems, probably made from stainless steel with a mirror like finish. i believe emblem pros sells them on ebay at a higher price than on their site.

If you want great quality, beautiful looking pieces, that you can also customize to your liking, and at a very reasonable prices, check out www.emblempros.com once you buy there you'll never look elsewhere.

I have the $8 ebay ones on now cause Im going to be doing a berger panel eventually...I must say this is my 2nd set from ebay and the fitment wasn't too great. The first pair I purchased fit great, this set was a pain to install. If your looking to just spruce up your rear a bit and not looking to spend a lot ($65 is a lot for inserts when trying to mod a car that can be spent else where), you really cant go wrong for $8...

^if you're gonna get vinyl, you might as well go with ebay for the better prices.

Emblempros FTW! As a side note, Roger can make just about any crazy idea you can come up with (within reason). In fact I will be ordering some of his work very soon. I also agree on your car black would look better than chrome because the chrome wouldn't really have anything to tie in with.

EDIT: I may be off my rocker here because its been a while since I've seen one, but don't the stock SS emblems have a thin silver outline? Here's an idea that I've seen once before. You could get the stainless ones, then order up some custom vinyls from Brent Franker to go over the top that are slightly thinner than normal, thus creating a center etched effect. Or maybe Roger can center etch stainless. I am not sure if that's something that's possible or not because I haven't checked into it.

Actually there are a number of ways to place color in these letters, and we invented the center etch. Just let me know what you need, and I will see if we can do it.

Thanks, Roger
