Custom Fiberglass Hood and Rear Deck Lid Ok so these coming weeks I'm building a custom rear deck lid out of fiberglass as practice for my next project, a custom Fiberglass cowl induction hood. I'm going to use an old used camaro hood as the base before i cut it up for clearance and build my scoop on it.
Here are some drafts I did on the computer on how the rear deck lid will look from both sides and the hood on my 97 Camaro.(I'm sanding the hood down to bare metal and I'm painting the fiberglass scoop in a crimson like red and adding a clearcoat on the rest of the hood cause I saw a 1st gen camaro with a bare metal hood covered in clear coat and I liked the look) .
What do you guys think?
