Here are some sills we just made recently. These are all 5th gen, but we have also made 98-02 versions. They just got shipped without pictures being taken. We will post those versions when we make some more.

Thanks, Roger

Excuse me if youve already answered this in the 14 pages, but what does the lighting consist of? What kind of lighting is it and how do you get it so even? Im going to be saving up for these. These are beyond amazing. Thanks.

We get it so even buy attempting it, and throwing away about 50 sets of sills in failed attempts.
Different lighting, different filters, different build methods, and different thicknesses of materials: We tried everything we could thing of, before settling on this design.
This design was approved by GM tests for electrical, and water intrusion. It took one year for GM approval. So all components we use are high quality and dependable.

I completely understand your question, and would like to give you an answer. However, we do not really like to divulge things. Especially since there are copycats floating around here. I have already had someone on a different forum, ask me how to build them. He will not be getting that information.

Thanks, Roger

I understand. They look perfect! Will there be any sales soon for forum members or anything? I just want the regular Trans Am ones that are on your website.

We are trying to promote these using the brushed finish, which is a lot tougher then the mirror finish is.
However we have sold many sets in mirror, and I also have a mirror set for my car. Like you said, I have never stepped on mine either.

We have a sale going on right now where the etched sills are included, but the lighted sills are not. Simply becsause of the component cost, and time to build them.
I love these lighted sills, they are just costly and time consuming to build.

Thanks, Roger

this might sound ugly, but i think if u could get the "bird" symbol or "slp" symbol on a aftermarket air lid to illuminate when the hood opens that would be cool.
