Default Weekend Appearance Mod Pics

So, I did some stuff to my '02 WS6 this weekend. Finally got my KYB AGX shocks and Eibach Sportlines on. Also, got my HUMount radio bezel installed, along with taking the emblems off the doors and painting them, along with putting on my vent rings, so thought I would share after the wash job. Enjoy.

I took the original red emblems off using thin fishing line, sandpapered them a bit to scuff them up so the new paint would stick and then cleared. I used double-sided 3M tape to reapply the emblems. I used tape to mark where the emblems were originally and think I got them back to their original locations good and straight....

Good luck with the Sportlines, man I hated those springs. I bought my 97 with them on it.

Where'd you get the vent rings?

I got the vent rings from a guy that is no longer on the forum that made them. I actually have another set that I don't need.

I got the radio trim from HUMount.com...you can design your own, and pricing depends on what you get on it. I think I got mine for less than $100. It allows the radio to actually sit flush instead of sticking out like the installation kits you get at best buy, etc.

I actually like them pretty good. With the sportlines and the amount of drop I did, I had to set them pretty stiff so there was not any wheel hop, but once I got them set right, I'm happy with my choice. I got them from Sam Strano, a sponsor here on the site.

Not sure if you know this but the reason the price is a lil high is those TRANS AM letters are back lit at night, you cant tell in his pic, FWIW
