Default Different versions of Tan Interior?

I have a 2002 WS6 and my interior is all tan. I have seen other interior pictures of Trans Ams with tan interior and some seem to be 2-tone?

I have seen this:

The rear sail panels, and the doors have black...mine are all tan.

Were there 2 different versions?

The only time I have seen Factory 2-tone Int was back in the LT1 days where you would have Black and Red (cloth) doors and seats. Killer PIMP IMO.

That looks to be a custom Job, not Factory IMO. I do not think there is a RPO code for that option.

That black/tan combo was a rare option. I forgot the name of it, (camel something?) but it WAS an OE option.

Wouldnt be hard to dye or spray up the pieces you want to get the look your after. I did it and many others on here have also.

It works great and holds up well for the price, defiantly something you should look into doing if you have some spare time to waste on it.

What year was the 2 tone an option? Was "camel" a different option than tan?

I kinda like it!

Ours is the two tone interior, I have never seen another one like it, and I would certainly like to know where it came from, in the factory books for the car it isn't even an option. Please tell me if anyone does find out.

Thanks, Roger

I have two tone in my 00 but not like the first pic. My carpet, seats and door panel inserts are tan. My dash, console and the door panels are black. Its kinda odd looking but its growing on me!

The Camel interior was an option for any 00-02 firebird , formula or trans am . It was only in leather . Camel was a totally separate option from the common Nuetral interiors . The Nuetral color was really light , the Camel was a darker tan like they had from 93-95 .

Only other factory 2 tones were the whites from 94-99 and the red leather from 95 and 96 .

Yeah, I've got Camel in my 01. I didn't know how rare it was, or even knew it existed when I bought this car. I just thought it looked cool. I have never seen another car in person with it. Now that I have it, I think all black interiors are so boring. So glad I got this car! I know Camel in a SOM WS6 has got to be super rare.

It's more brown/dark tan in person. It's definitely a darker shade of tan than the normal tan interiors. These pics make it look really light
