The advantage of VHT over the covers is the amount of light they project, lights with VHT will project more light than the covers, plus the covers somehow trap heat and warp the lights.

Where can I get some 1000 or 1500 grit sand paper? Lol. Home depot and Lowes only had the highest of 600 grit

Try an auto parts store. NAPA/Autozone and similar places would likely have it. There aren't really many applications besides automotive paint refinishing that need a grit higher than 600, hence why your garden variety hardware store isn't likely to have 1000

Lol I figured that after I thought about it after like 30 seconds I just had the thought of sand paper in general in my head and thought hey Home Depot!
