Very nice!!!! You didn't happen to get th idea for the fuse boxes from the writeup I did a while back did ya? I'm curious to see how you have your covers for the battery and fuses mounted....mine are velcro and aren't up to par!

KYLES2000Z it might have been is your car silver?the battery cover is plastic bat. tray sitting on top of a piece of alum.(so stock wires can run down to battery mounted where overflow was)then drilled into and tapped so I could use button head bolt like rest.getting ready to make some practice runs and will be flipping race battery back up and can post more pics if interested.the fuse side I had to use threaded rod and cap off with acorn nut(couldn't find long enough bolt)Also want to THANK Steve and guys at YOFAB working with them on emblem and really have stuff together!!!!

01badbird did you use much bondo to fill in the fender wells? Of is it just sheet metal?

I think its time for a shaved black FTP lid

That aside, this is IMO the PERFECT engine bay. You have the black/silver/red ratio perfect. Totally clean, stock looking, understated.

If i were the judge at a show id give it 1st (although id try to get you to swap lids first)

Thanks guys get alot of ideas from seeing so many nice cars on site just wish I had more money!and always appreciate any input (thinking of lid) trying to do the best with what I have, besides are they ever finished?and used sheet metal to fill in voids but spot welded and ground the crap out of metal to almost smooth and used fiberglass bondo for base coat (didn't want ton bondo)

That is AWESOME! What did you do your hood latch with? Also, did you powdercoat your tensioner pulley? If so, who did it? Thanks
