Default 6litereater seat install

Ok has anyone installed seats off of 6litereaterdesigns?? I tried to get em in today and ran into a problem. It appears the universal sliders do not match up to the stock sliders. Any one run into the same problem or am I just missing something obvious??

^^Beat me to it. The sliders you don't use if you're mounting on factory rails, you just mount the rails to the seats (with some fabbing).

Wedge sold brackets to mount the seats to the sliders and the sliders to the floor but they want like $200 PER BRACKET now.

We'll have some for $200 SHIPPED AND POWDERCOATED per SET very soon. Trying to see if there is anyway we can bring the price down but they are heavy and have to be cut by laser/waterjet and THEN welded as well so there is time and material in them.

How soon is soon? Like a rough estimate. I talked to wedge today and they wanted 205 for the set unless I misunderstood what he was saying completely. At the moment, my seats are out so a good time
estimate would be nice.

I installed my Summit seats with the universal sliders. I mounted the back of the sliders to the floor and fabbed up a piece of metal connecting the front of the slider to the floor.

I talked to wedge engineering and they sell em for 82 per side. I also, however, found out it's a 3 week back order on em too... I orderedmy seats back in late march and won't have em in till July... Frustrating...

I used to send people to them all the time, it was like $150 for the pair, then they jacked it up to like $200, then last someone else called it was $200 a side!

I wish they had a consistent pricing or ordering page on their site...

Sorry for bumping old thread!

But, can you retain the electronic functionality on the driver seat if I purchase these seats?

Thanks.

As long as you purchase the mounting brackets that 6LE was mentioning earlier in this thread. With those brackets you can use your factory rails from your seats and install these seats. and everything should work as stated.
