Default Decal Test Fitting *Pics*

I am re-designing hockey stripes to make a full length stripe. I test fit decals in red since I have a lot of it, and figured I'd share since there arent many pics of red on pewter.

The rocker panel decals are my next work in progress along with custom checkered rally stripes for a Z28 trim.

Short stripes (Before)

Not a fan of the checkered flag thing. Too many mustangs do that as is. The black hockey didn't look too bad but I actually think I like the shorty better. In the end it's your car, do what you want with it, if you're happy then that's all that matters.

I like the first hockey stripe and the checkered flag, but not the red stripe.

It was a joke Lol, its up there with Windshield Banner Decals. Do a search on Chevy Barretta GT's on

As for the post, I am definitly "Less is More" kind of a person, making it tasteful is half the battle.

Small decals that accentuate the vehicle will be the ticket.

The red is not staying, these were just test fits for the artwork. I think red on pewter is obnoxious.

I like your first set of hockey stripes, they just need to be a little longer and accented with a pinstripe I think.

The red ones are just too long for me, maybe just a bit past the door handle would look good?

Guys, he's only using the red as a test fit for the extended length of the stripe. , I'm pretty sure the final product wont be red, but black.

IMO, I never really liked the hockey stripes on 4th gen Camaro's, something about the odd curve of the stripe looking funny next to the round wheel well, with nothing in the front to warrant it either. The short stripe looks too short(duh) but the long stripe looks a bit too long to me. Maybe just past the door, over the rear wheel?

Also, the rocker panel stripe looks kinda out of place too. Just like stripe that comes out of nowhere in the middle of the body, looks incomplete. But if you like it,

So since you're test fitting, I assume you design & cut these yourself?

Yeah not feeling the decals at all. If you must do side stripes I would go with Sunoco Style body stripes.
