Default Remove side body molding or paint it??

On the side of my TA there is the molding that sticks out (looks good, nice body lines) but the paint is faded. Should I remove them all together or paint them a different color?

I was thinking remove and paint glossy black along with the 'trans am' emblems on the side...thoughts? Pics? Can anyone photoshop for me??

No other appearance mods, besides brakes. May get the windows tinted, but not anytime soon.

remove it. it looks sooo much cleaner without it! i couldn't imagine ever wanting those things back on my car.

to give an idea...

i also got rid of the "trans am", but that doesn't look too bad left on, especially with overlays, i just wanted a really clean look.

Yeah....debadge may be the way to go....can anyone photoshop my car? Black, maybe silver? Just want to get an idea.

The white TA looks sick with black, but the whole car has black accents.

Looks good removed, I'm just worried if the paint is good when its taken off...but I imagine its just glue or something? I imagine theres some old wax down in there and hella dirt haha.

Whats the usual method for removal? fish line?

I vote removed, i think it looks cleaner. As for the glue thats left behind i just used rubbing alcohol. Its strong enough to remove glue residue but not affect your paint or clear coat. You can see what I did with the lettering and I am going to do the CETA mod when i get home off leave. Excuse the crappy cell phone pics.

Also say repaint body color, my car didn't have them when I got it and I put new ones on it. IMO trans ams look cheap without them, they accent the body line perfectly.

Remove them but definitely heat them with a hair dryer first and use floss or fishing line behind them to get them off. I heated mine up a bit but really wasn't very careful when I took them off because the car is about to be repainted. I basically just heated them enough to soften the glue a bit then tore them off with my hands. Don't do what I did. When I pulled the one on the driver's side quarter panel it took a GIGANTIC chunk of paint with it. Not really a big deal in my case but definitely not something you want happening normally.
