Leather conditioner...what do you use?
What does everyone here use for leather conditioners? I got a partial bottle of Zaino's (z10?) and I loved it...however they charge a flat rate $9 or $10 shipping and I don't want to pay that much just for one bottle...so I was wondering if there was a product just as good I could get at Auto Zone or O'Reilly's or something?

Most of the posts in that thread are garbage. People clearly have NO clue on leather and how you take care of it. Some people said they let their conitioner soak in overnight.......WRONG! Conditioner needs heat to penetrate, like sitting the car in the sun for a day or even two. Also, it seems people are looking for the soaking wet shiney look....that is NOT how leather is suppose to look when it is done properly. Leather is supposed to have a matte, satin finish....not shiney and wet looking. Also, it seems that people were even putting conditioner on the seats, and calling it done without even removing it WTF?
Leatherique, when used PROPERLY, will not be beat. Apply the condition with a brush or bare hands, and put i ton THICK! Use a heat gun if it's cold outside to warm the seats and penetrate the oil, or sit the car out in the hot summer sun for no LESS than 12 hours. At the end of this step, the leather will feel tacky. Now, apply the second step of Leatherique, which is a cleaner. Seems backwards, but thats how it works. Spray/wipe the cleaner on the seats, allow it to sit for no at least 15 minutes. After the 15 minutes, take a warm, damp cloth, and wipe the conditioner and cleaner off the seats all at once. Once all product has been removed, go over it one more with a dry towel. At this point, if done PROPERLY, your seats will look and feel as god and new as they possibly can!

Point was to try a search. Not just that thread, or this one linked above. This topic has been beat to death.

I have used Armor All and Meguiar's Gold Class, BOTH products I like and very similar in color, consistancy and ability to condition.
IF I was cleaning leather specifically, I would be using Meg's All Purpouse Cleaner Plus diluted with a tooth brush and a soft shoe or fingernail brush. The Follow up with the condidtioner.

I think this is one of the very few sites where the search actually works. I find old discussions on here all the time. Why else do you think I have very few posts. I search and find the answers to my questions.

BTW - Who the heck are u? I just found it rude that he felt it a need to post to seach and expressed it in such a way. Some guys are new and just want to ask a question quick to start up a chat. Long day here but I get tired of people like that trying to run off new users.
Get over it.
