Thanks guys.. I like the Z06 rims but I feel its time to kick it up another notch <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

FM5's seem a bit common but I do like them <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> -- I love them BMW 19" rims but I really dont want to go bigger than 18's.. I must say I was really impressed with the weight on the new FISKE wheels.. 22lbs is nothing for a 18x10.5 wheel!!

What do you guys think of the HRE 545 I posted?? I guess I am sorta stuck on the split spoke design.. and remember, when I was going to go to the Z06 rim lots of people said "NO, your car looks perfect with the Boyds!!!" lol.. so I think part of it is what your used to seeing <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

My life is sooo hard with decisions like "HRE's or FIKSE's???" <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

If your going with Fikse, get the FM10s
IF your going with HRE, get the <img border="0" alt="[hail]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_hail.gif" /> 547s <img border="0" alt="[hail]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_hail.gif" /> (hint hint)

but IMHO these new fikses dont look good on any car

Expensive but much cheaper than HRE's!! HRE's cost well over a $100 more per wheel and thats with just a painted center.. a machied center (comparable to what the Fiskes come with) adds $227 per wheel.. dont even ask what they want for polished! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />

Seriously though, those Fiske's are awesome. Not to mention that fact that you'd have a set of wheels that are uncommon. Everyone and their brother has the chrome Z06's...except me. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" />

Your car looks amazing. You should turn it into a low 11 second car. A heads/cam package will allow you to keep the engine bay the same, but it'll be a sleeper from hell. Traction would be difficult on 18's though.

of course we all know that.

If you do want new wheels, I do like split spokes
as well. Those seems to be missing something
though.

with full polished HRE 545's
