I love the Fikses. I would go with the Fikses over the HREs. For some reason, the HREs don't look like there is enough wheels there. But that is just my preference. Also, light weight wheels = performance gain. Better handling, better turn-in response. That should be atleast 40 lbs of wheel weight over your stock ones right? Thats about a tenth right there if you can hook it up.

Hey Steve, if you can get the HREs, you should imo. There is really not a higher quality wheel out there.

I think you should get some different rims, and IMO I'd get rims nobody else has.
I'm local to Shaitiger, and the 19's can't be beat from a show standpoint with a lowered car but I'm not sure how they will hold up on bad streets.

While I do show my car the go is important too.. as is the ride and overall "fun to drive" I just dont think the great looks of the 19" wheels overcomes the cruddy ride, lower performance and possibility of wheel damage if you hit a bump.. if they were 18's I would be all over them
We shall see.. opinions on how the 545 HRE's look on the car?

Those 545's look nice, probably only a handful of F-Budz with those rims... How about contacting Billet Specialties and designing your own.

Kinesis rims are an option....
I think a set of the 18" K59R revers drop centers would look awesome on your car.

If you think Fikses are not common, take a trip to Houston. There are probably 100 f-bodies (or more) in the area with Fiske wheels. Mostly FM5s
SSR makes those wheels in 17s, 18s and 19s..... check out our Tire Rack sponsor site.

the car looks good with the z06 wheels, but several people have 'em. i did like the look with the boyd blasters, and i think a set of HRE's would look great. the fikse wheels just dont strike me for the WoW factor... Good looking wheel, just not something i'd see on your car.

HRE 545s, 547s, or the Lingenfelter/HRE signature series ( my favorite ) look awesome on your car.
Or maybe a Mallet 396 in polished form. They are split spoke also.

hey nine ball are those rims (reffering to the link that you posted) called "Shatiger"? or is that the dude's name?
Who sells those? are they real or replica? I would be very interested in getting them so any feedback from anyone would be very very appreciated.

Weight savings? Lay off the doughnuts.
Bling? You've been in southern California too long.
Steve, do you really want to have another Camaro in California with non-GM rims? Seriously, keep the Z06 wheels! They're sweet.
