Stock SS hood, are you sitting down, is 50 lbs! I have a smashed one and we weighed it at VFN. We think it's heavy due to the super high quality of the hood.
New VFN SS-race hoods would be like 25-27 lbs bolton, and 12-15lbs pinon.

That hood just looks so badass, i probably wouldn't get one, since im basically stock, and think a hood like that should be backed up with alot of power, but once i get some mods done, im all over that hood like white on rice...or something like that <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

I got my order in on the 29th, but must not have gotten the gp rate as I was charged 565 for my order. Still should be worth it and then some. Thanks John for bringing this to our attention.

Or do they just make the prototype, send out the specs and have another facility make them to fill the orders? Though I am %99.99 sure they make them right there in Addison.

Evil, any hood will need some light sanding. My hood is the first, and it will need some light trimming around the headlight doors and maybe a little on the sides.
