Here's a post I did for Justin Sutton in September, https://ls1tech.com/ubb/cgi-bin/ulti...=006009#000000 . I'm doing nothing different then what I did in September, if I don't click on image all that will come up is the link to the picture( picture will show up if you click on the link ) but not the picture it's self.

I really can not help you, because I don't know what the problem is. Where are these pics you want to post? You must be doing something wrong.

In the past I've been able to take pictures from my MSN photo site and post them here, let me see if I take one of my pictures from my computer instead of the MSN site and see if that works.

Works for me.

Has MSN banned linking of photos??? A TON of sites are doing this to cut down on traffic.

Dark Age the picture you tried posting is stored on your local computer. You cannot post from there. That's the C:/... that's showing up. Need to upload them to your msn account or someplace else on the web. If you need a spot email them to me and I'll put them on my server and send you a link to post them from.

OK I give up. The problem is that the board keeps putting a space in the URL towards the end in between the 3 and the 6. If you look below you can see it. I don't know why it's doing it.

Default Posting picture problem.

I've done a search and posted this over on the Racer's Lounge but no help so far, being this section get's it's fair share of photo's I thought someone here could help.

I had no problem in posting pictures before but for some reason something must have changed. Here's what I do,

1.Go to my photo site and choose a picture.
2.Click on properties ( address (url) ) and high lite it.
3.Click on copy.
4.Come back to post topic and click on image.
5.Click on the box that comes up in the corner and then paste the address, click on ok.

This what comes up,

so what am I doing wrong. TIA

Al

[ i m g ] url [ / i m g ]

Should work, without the spaces of course. Highlight, copy then paste. Works for me. Do you use Geocities? Some sites don't allow remote hosting.

just try doing it yourself. do the [img] [/img] thing with the address in the middle with no spaces instead of clicking on the image button. should work

If I do a link to a picture it works, but a direct image won't. http://groups.msn.com/_Secure/0TACzB...75325013368326 447
