Striping my TA spoiler Getting ready to take my spoiler off so my painter can do his thing.
How big of a pain in the *** is it? I see the 4 screws under the lid. Is there anything else and how do you unhook the 3rd brake light? Is there a snap inside the wing or do you just unsnap inside the light housing?

Should be similar from when I did my camaro. Yes your 3rd brake light housing will have to come out...no biggie, can be done from the housing itself. The wiring harness/clip will be accessed once you've seperated the wing from the trunk lid.
If I remember correctly there are a few more bolts under the plastic cover on the bottom of the hatch. The third brake like should unhook on the drivers side. When you pull the spoiler up on that side you should see a hole on the underside of the spoiler and one under it on the hatch where the wiring goes through, the connector should be around there. It's been a while since I did it on a Trans Am, but I know that's how it is on the Camaro and I could have sworn it was the same between the two.
