Do you have more pics of this? Can you make another thread so we don't jack it? I'm curious about it. Yes, RETROFIT FTMFW.

I was about ready to scrap this project when the only halo rings I could find were from china. Then, I found some

Computer fans with CCFL rings If they don't fit I'll just toss them in my comp, they were only $5.50 a piece, I bought two of them.

Specs:

* Diameter of Round cold cathode:8cm
* Input voltage:12V
* Output voltage:620V
* Power compsumption:2.4watts
* Current draw:0.005A
* Brightness:28,000 cd/m?

And I also bought

Slim HID kit 6000k
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWNX%3AIT

I made a best offer of $40 and got it (should have tried lower first lol)

Yeah i saw those, couldn't find red ones. I sort of eyeballed/measured the rings through the lens and pretty sure they are 80mm. When my rings come, if it looks like they won't even fit I don't know if I'll even bother to take the lights apart.

Now as far as the halo rings, they have a plastic case with tabs so I need to grind down the 4 tabs on each of the rings.

So halo rings should be here monday/tuesday, the HIDs will be here tomorrow or monday.

You have to plug the ballast into the factory harness "backwards" because GM in their wisdom wired our cars backwards

Or what I did was pull the pins from the factory plugs and switch them around, that way the locking tab still lines up. And since halogen bulbs don't care about polarity, even if you went back to them it wouldn't affect those.

I figured it out after about an hour searching the web Very gay. These things are sweet though, look pretty bright, just waiting on the halos now.

I have a set of C6 projectors in my garage. I wish I had a 98+. There's so many retrofit setups out there. Seeing all of these makes my 95 jealous.
