Re: What rims for $1500 or less?? Racer girl, mine took 6 weeks, and I live close to Boyd's so I will called them. They take time but they are well worth the wait. Get the pewter logo for the center cap, they should give them to you for free, and they look great.

I have very little patience though so its going to be hard but I know they will be worth it! I just want them so bad! I will definintly have to ask for the pewter logo- thanks! Re: What rims for $1500 or less?? yeah, it sucks that we have to wait, I don't have pictures yet, I only have 2 wheels on the car. The tire place bent one.It is bieng re-hooped.
Make sure that they use a flush mount valve stem if you have the rear mount valve stem. The rubber ones are too long and rub on the caliper. You can imagine what would if a valve stems gets caught and rips out!!! Also make sure you order hubcentric rings or your car will shake, mine does and I just found out about it. Simo at Boyd's knows all about this mess. They do not tell you you need them, but you will. Enjoy the wheels, I'll post pic's next week when I get my wheels back and on the car.

Re: What rims for $1500 or less?? Hey RacerGirl, I just got off the phone with Simo at Boyd's,to get hubcentric rings you need the bore size of the wheel and the hub diameter for our cars. The ls1's have a hub diameter of 2.768 inches, and the standard bore for boyd wheels is 3.072 inches. Check with him, he will tell you the bore size of your specific wheel.

Re: What rims for $1500 or less?? try www.skperformance.com and look at the bonspeed wheels.i think 18s are $1576,and 20s are 17xx.they are nice looking wheels,but thats just my opinion.
