Couple of thoughts... I've been kicking around a couple ideas for my vert. One, what about wrapping the convertible tonneau cover in hugger orange leather or vinyl ala the 69 Indy 500 Pace Car? It would also work as I switch over my interior to white leather.
Two, what about painting my wheels white to match the car? I recently saw a white Z28 on here with white wheels and it's an intriguing idea to me.

both sound hideous to me, but I'm very picky
I like convertible tops that blend in as much as possible, light tan colors on medium to dark colors ect are too flashy...orange would be extremely flashy
I think the only thing worse than white wheels are yellow/pink/other obnoxious color

Definitely dig the idea of HO tonneau cover.
White Leather & TOP will look great. I think chrome wheels look good with all of that being white and personally I 'd do wheels last just to see how it looks when done.

hugger orange cover will look fugly... most likely will get dirty/faded and even look more like ***. although more than welcome to try it out so we can get a real impression 
white wheels might work... LS1's are a little different look in style with those implanted in the brain than what a LT1 looks like

I'll get a couple better angle pics up tomorrow to shop.
I wasn't meaning a HO convertible top. That would just look silly. I meant the cover that goes *over* the top when it's down. I may think about doing it white with the seats as well. That would be a little more subtle.

i like the sounds of both ideas. especially the white rims. that looks great on white cars. but, with how dirty my rims get (daily driver), i'm not sure if i'd let myself go that route.
with the top, will you have other orange details on the car: stripes, calipers, etc. ?
