It plugs into the harness like a original NES game plugs into the console. Lol, thats the best I can explain it.

I just lowered the stearing wheel, and worked it out. there pretty hard to break but if you want to take the long/ safe route you would have to drop the steering column

Finesse. Took some doing getting mine out. Then getting it back in. One of those try it different ways, doesn't quite come out, try again the same way you just did a million times before and it comes right out type things.

Excellent explanation . Once the 4 screws are out just pull it straight towards you and it will come undone from the harness connector. Lower the wheel all the way down and start to angle it as you pull it towards you and it will come right out.

Tilt the top tward you & rotate it down to the right.

To put it back in, leave the glass off till you have it in then snap the glass back on & re install your screws.

I do it the same way. Take it off with bezel on. Then remove the bezel for reinstall there are 4 small tabs you can press down with a screw driver. Don't forget to put the trip button/stick back in. If your replacing with leds make sure to plug just the cluster in and check them before reinstall as well.

The first time I took it out it took me ~45mins. Its going to feel like your about to break everything in half your first time. Now I can remove clusters in my sleep. Prob 2 mins or less.

Cool I'll get back in there and get it. I'm used to the 93-96 cars, I figured I was hung on the cluster connector.
