98-02 Clear corners.. What bulbs do I need?

I received the chrome coated amber bulbs today and installed one side to compare to the other.
They definitely look great when not lit b/c they blend in, BUT they are not nearly as bright as standard amber bulbs due to the coating. They are probably brighter than led bulbs though. Anyway, I have decided to leave them off b/c they are not bright enough for my taste.
