Hey Steve2000ss,
Very nice system, I was at out the other day pricing a new system for my TA. I am looking at getting one with the 6 or 7 inch screen so you can watch DVD's or hook up a game station to it. The sales guy said they would replace the front speakers and the rear ones but said I wouldn't need the ones that are in the back on the wheel well. they will also put in one of the sub woofers in the back like yours. It will have something called a splitter and seperate power amps along with rear mounted 6 changer DVD and a seperate 6 changer cd. they will get whatever it is to allow the use of the steering wheel controls. total cost including install is going to be around 3,500.00.
First let me say I don't know hardly anything about stereo equipment. I do like the way the factory monsoon sounds but I haven't heard a system like yours. Is there really that much of a difference to justify the 2-3.5K. I was hoping to just replace the unit with one that plays cd/dvd with a retractable screen. but they told me that none of the factory components would work with an upgraded aftermarket stereo, not even the speakers.
any thoughts would be great.

You just need to find the right shop that has a guy who knows how to set it up.

The headunit cost me $2200 installed but remember this has a built in DVD player so you don't need to buy an extra one.
Here is a link to the one i have.

Thanks very much, they told me they haad a unit that had the dvd/cd player/screen built in to one unit for around 1900.00 but that I would still need to replace all the Monsoon components/speakers.
Thanks again, I will look around some more.
