Love the 6LE valance but i'm about to just rip it off!!! I painted the whole car myself but i can't keep this f*****g thing to stay up!! Thanks in advance!!

Is the tape letting go of the valence piece, or letting go of the bumper?

If it is coming off the bumper, maybe your paint is too slick for it to grab onto. Not sure how you'd correct that though...

If its the paint, sand it to give it some texture to grab onto?

That sounds extreme to me though lol.

that was happening to me aswell. would replace the 3m tape and a few days later it was hanging Ijust like in your pics), the solution i did was use "goop automotive" its a adhesive that shops use to put bodykits etc together. i read about it here on tech. one of the mods mentioned it and i gave it a try works like a charm. i used it last sunday and so far so good.

first off you need to clean it well (Im sure you did that) then you need some 3m adhesives promoter swabs.
After you wipe it with the swap (both the part and the car) you need someway to help hold it in place for about 1hr and you should be good. (tape, boxes anything to help hold it in place.) But I would let it sit for 24hr before you go for a drive with it on the car.

E-mail me your address and I'll send you some better 3M stuff than what I am seeing in the pics... Not the same stuff my manufacturer uses, slightly stronger for the occassional stubborn mo'fo's, lol.

Mine did the same... I eventually used JB weld on that bitch and it hasn't come off. Not sure if you want to do that to your car but I figured im not wanting it to come off so why not?

Aye man I checked out your Fquick and saw you got done...Looks good wat did you end up doing to get it on? I'm about to start the install of my 6LE CME valance and I ran into a fitting issue as well. Not sure if I have to re-heat it to get it to line up or what.
