****, i pulled the oil filler elbow off my gf's car and i have a problem.
the damn stock elbow doesnt fit the new valve covers and the k&n filter doesnt fit the damn elbow.

i had the filter on the covers directly, but the damn last coil doesnt let the filter completely in. I'm going to have to find a custom elbow. any ideas?
(excuse the fingerprints all over the filter..lol)

and this is what it looks like with out the filter.

can you modify the bracket at all by drilling different holes for that pack, maybe a half inch towards the rear?

Fittings on each cover to a catch can with a breather on it. Proper venting and keep the covers clean.

With the tall valve covers did you have a problem with the heater hose on the passenger side?

i had a bunch of problems with mine. the heater hose is really tight and gets in the way. the last coil is really hard to get too and i had to break off a piece off the plastic that holds the heater hose.i wish the listing on ebay would have stated how much modding they required.

well I might try and relocate and drill the last last coil like haulu said. if i get the filter to fit would i be ok? i also pluged the tb and mani. I've been told that i also need a ls6 valley cover. what will happend if i dont get one and run it with the plugs and a filter?

you could always do the coil pack relocation mod too, then you could show off those new covers a little bit better.

well these ****** valve covers are leaking oil from the psg side. i cant see why. i bolted down the bolts till they pretty much spun...lol! i dont have a torque wrech, but usually the stock one just need to be a lil more than hand tight and they are fine. I tried driving the car to Matts house today and i saw the car smoking up and leaking oil on to the headders. I might just have to go with a different set of valve covers.
