Cheap, Effective, Quick projector HID's... for trans ams

Generally speaking the adjustment would be a concern along with some clearance issues. The design looks very similar to ours but with some clear differences. We've made a number of changes to address the issues we encountered with early designs prior to the release of our kits.
If a very basic kit without the frills (aesthetic cover, thermoformed projector cover, etc) would be of interest, its something we could offer today at a greatly reduced price of our current kits.

Not a bad design but there are a couple issues with it that would concern me.
Output looks good but the focal point of the lamp appears to be off for whatever reason. The hot spots are interesting but the HIDs may make everything look a touch cleaner granted the lamps don't have the same issue. Very nice.
It's something we considered but it's a very tedious task to open up the housing to retrofit the projector. The labor and general cost would price the units higher than I would like for simply a retrofitted stock or aftermarket housing. I've inquired about obtaining aftermarket housings with the lens not attached to the back part of the housing but no one is willing to offer that.

I'll post pics with my set of HIDs come in. Should be good.

You are the undisputed king of Trans Am HID kits and I'm not here to attempt dethrone you. I already had the housings and wanted some mounting plates and I've spoken with you several times about them and wound up just doing it myself.
I'm not here to offer HID kits or attempt to sway any of your customers. I have no use for the full kit you offer and had my own parts made.

I've got a few sets that I have left over from the order I placed for myself and some local guys..
Hopefully I can post some pics to ease your concerns tomorrow.. I've been out of town all day today and I'm headed back out in about 20 minutes..

As the thread states, this is all about effective solutions and this kind of creativity is how I ended up starting the business and offering the kits you are all aware of.
With that said, looking forward to the pics.
Feel free to PM me for more details on what you are looking for.

Solutions- I think there is a definite demand for a cheaper piece together type kit rather than just the entire kit.
I don't know what all your kit includes but maybe 3 different packages. One with everything, one with no hid bulbs ballast etc and maybe one with no projector and no hid bulb ballat etc???
Just a thought.

They are installed using the stock adjustment screws and stock retention spring.. The Hella springs are used to snug the plate up..
I'll be painting these plates with Rustoleum bed liner, that stuff rocks..
I had to rob my bulbs and ballast's to put them in my airplane.. LOL.. (the video isn't my plane, but it's what it will look like when I get the Wig-Wag wired up)

They'll look better I think when I get them painted. I've just been too busy to work on my own car. They're not as factory looking as the BLS kit, but I don't show the car or anything and the only time anyone will see them is when the lights are on, and then they'll look alright.
Thanks for the positive comment.

I don't think I'd call me competition. I just had some parts made and thought I'd share.
I guess if there was enough interest in these I could look into being a sponsor. I didn't see you actively promoting them so I figured you'd done the homework and saw no real need of them.

The first pics of the high beam that you had looked like the plate surrounding the projector was more flush than that of the low beam projector. If you could make the low beam look just as flush I would pay you to make me one
