depends on your paint method. some do the John Deere blitz black stuff, some use Hot Rod Satin, both of these options are fairly inexpensive, less than $200 for paint supplies. some go the more professional route and do a black base coat with a satin clear, and that'll cost as much, if not more than a regular job since its a special clear coat mix using a flattening agent in the clear for the satin look.

That is a sexy *** paint job! I don't know what G8 is seeing, but I fail to see any blotches or anything resembling a rattle can paint job. To call it one of the "crappiest looking" paint jobs is pretty ignorant sounding. It's a satin paint job, it's not going to reflect light like a high gloss paint job.
Have to add, Chaman's car is IMO the sexiest car on this forum. haha.

Slam it, cam it, black out those marker lights, put some BLS projectors on it and people will rear end each other trying to stare as they pass. Looks good, screw the haters, your car, your taste, looks like your takin' good care of her!

oh everyone i have a little special project for the front plate so i know its missing at the moment 
and the side markers were black along with the 3rd brake light. its just that was a while ago and i need to redo them. im going to whistler the fogs black also
