Gotta say I’m more of a shinny person myself but that looks bad ***. You can barely see it at night. I say paint the wheels to match the car and leave the chrome lip. Also I’d paint the calipers to match as well and put a decal on there in red, just a thought. Car looks good man.

 

that picture showed alot of the reflectors for some reason and i dont know why. they are almost an exact match to the car when you are behind them

i have a set of fikse's i might put on if i dont sell the car (deciding on a vette) here is a sick night picture (shitty cell phone picture)

 

Throw True duals on there and go ricer huntin, scare old ladies and wake up toddlers a mile away!

Vettes are just nice cruisers unless you really wana pay to mod/break it/mod again.

 

If you dont mind me asking, about how much would a paint job like this cost?Could you also pm me the kind of paint you used. Ive been wanting to do this for a while, but now that I bought an ss spoiler and ss hood I can finally paint it and I have a little bit of change.

 

Hot rod flatz and it was 2200 but I needed bodywork also so that added a lot to the price. I know someone who was quoted 1200 from the guy who did mine but that was just paintng the outside. No underhood, door jams. Stuff like that

 

Looks good man, Batmobile is the way to go. You should get all black wheels. The flat black looks sweet but I love the shine look to.

How's your paint held up to weather elements & driving so far?

 

it still looks like it did the day i picked it up, that is once i wash it. but in the sun its almost impossible to wash and im not taking through a carwash. i do have one rock chip in the front

 

I think I like it. I'd like to see the rims not so glossy - and nice big rotors.

That being said - i like it!

 

I agree. Some flat rims, with some big shiny rotors would look sick.

Op, is the hood fiberglass? Did the paint shop have any trouble matching the satin from the hood, to the body panels?

 

the hood is a VFN ws6 hood and they said the only problem they had was spraying one of the rear QPs and they had to redo it. the fitment isnt awesome (the front corners arent fully flush) but to the bigger rotors, i just got the brakemotive deal so im not just going to replace those haha. and i was thinking a matte center and gloss lip for the FM-10s

 

sick..... how hard is it to keep clean tho?

 

Seeing it's all black it looks dirty the day after he washes it.

 

to keep clean is easy, just hose it down. water spots are more visible but it hasnt seemed like dust and dirt shows as much as when it was glossy
