It has been done. Some like it, but i personally think it looks a little odd. Like the car needed to be repaired and only recieved flat black/primer paint.

I've seen people do a dark gunmetal finish on there before. Personally, I would do it gloss gunmetal to make it stand out. Also black out the tail lights.

It's kind of hard to tell the difference. It's definitely subtle haha but it could be the angles.

if your gonna do it, definitely do satin or semigloss, flat just looks unfinished, ^perfect example. it doesnt look horrible, just a little unfinished. satin/semigloss has a more finished look to it.

also, what i just said is directed more toward black cars than other colors. other colors can pull off flat more than black, although i still think satin is better than flat in general.

Not a fan of the flat back on a black car, but what ever you want is the most important thing.

the way see it, it isn't a "true" berger panel unless it's flat black like the gen1 cars...

we're doing my buddy's this week, I'll post pics when it's all done.

^what makes a 1st gen more true than a 4th gen berger car, they were all done by berger. 4th gen berger cars are the direct inspiration for this mod on non-berger 93-02's. And they certainly aren't flat on the true gen4 berger cars, they are either satin or semi-gloss, i'm not sure exactly
