Default Finally Ordered It

After trying to decide what to do, I finally ordered a new converter. I bought the Circle D HP series 3200 stall after talking to Chris and the guy that does all of my tuning. Since the car is only a dd and doesn't ever see the track we figured this would be best. Plus it wound up saving me a couple hundred bucks that can be used for more mods.

That being said I think it is now time to start paying more attention to the appearance of the car. What do yall think should be done? Right now the car is bone stock on the outside. I'm thinking window tint, wheels (prostars), HID's. Is there anything that yall think would be better?

im not trying to bust your chops or anything but if the car never sees a track as far as running it down one, why do you want prostars? i mean im not downing the idea cause i love the way prostars look i was just curious to know thats all but as far as to what your askin that would work with the plans but id also add clear corners if not done so already, shorten the antena lowering springs and if its a Z, SS hood or cowl hood and SS spoiler and whistler mod and i think that would do it for me

I really like the way they look to be honest, I wouldn't mind getting a set of C6 z06's I just have to wait and see if the car can keep traction with the new stall. I was thinking about blacking everything out also (forgot to mention that). I know it is kinda played out, but I love the way it looks. When you say whistler mod, what is that?

doesnt matter if its played out if you like it you like it. VHT is only like 10-15 bucks a can and can go along way with blacking out sidemarkers and tail lights if thats what you want. as far as wheels go there alittle pricey but billet specialties look sick on camaro's. and the whistler mod would be a nice cheap and effective mod aswel.

Thats what I'm thinking. I've looked at the billet specialties before, how do they do on daily drivers? Are they pretty strong? Also, what is a whistler mod?

So do you think that lowering the front end and putting some big drag radials in the rear to fill the wheel well up(good drap setup) looks better or do you think that fully lowered with 18-19 inch staggered wheels looks better?

First of all good choice on the converter. I have one and love it...

Second of all, any pics of how she looks now?

A general rule is just rims, spoiler, hood in that order... I'd personally go with black spyders and then a cool set of emblems from emblem pros to break up the black as well.

That sounds good. I'm looking at those wheels now on your website. $800 is not a bad deal. I think I am going to do a black billet grill and the wheels around the same time. Then definitely do some new badges.

Thatll be awesome. It'll probably be a little while before i'm ready to order... I still have to get the converter and cooler installed, so it may take another month or so to save back up.

I always say skip the lowering springs and spend the money on Koni SAs.

Then you can do heater hose mod in back and lower perch in front. Get the same effect as springs AND better handling (stock DeCarbons are DeCrap)...

6LE, I really like your ideas so far, so I think I may just give you a call when I'm ready and tell you how much I want to spend and let you just pick stuff out. haha.
