Had an idea... need your $.02! Now that my SS is off the road until march, I fugured its a good time to start doing some more appearance mods.
I want to do the berger mod (still cant decide between flat and gloss), but I was just thinking about taping off the area that is still visable in the trunk and just painting the back area black and keeping the jams red.
Anyone do this before? Just wanted to see how it looks before I move forward with the idea.

^don't think so, sounds like he meant taping of that top area, the section that you dont see with the trunk closed. you painted that as well.
also, you know its only 4 screws to pull that thing off? probably would've been easier to spray with it off, and you can get to all the nooks and cranies better, Either way though, it looks good!
As for the OP, it'll look good either way. either way you'll only notice it when the hatch is up.

yeah i know it comes off with a couple of screws. i was bored on a weekend and decided to do that one years ago. my new car im goin to pull it off. if i have time i might do it today or this weekend.
