hey people
i just bought a set of 97-99 C5 rims, the ones in 17x8.5" and 18x9.5", for my 98 Z
i cant afford any good tires, so i have to get kuhmos <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" />
only rear sizes i see they have them in is: 275/35/18
they have the correct 245/45/17 for the front
i looked it up in the tire-calculator, and the 275/35's are actually the same as my stock 245/50/16's in overall diameter, so thats good
but i dont like having rubber bands out back compared to the taller sidewalls up front
the 35's sidewall is 3.8" tall, compared to the 40's 4.3"
so my question is, what have you guys (people with these size rims) picked ??
anyone know this guy, and what size tires he has? -

For the front I'd think you could run the 275/40ZR17 tire which is the stock Camaro SS tire size and use the 275/35ZR18 in the back. Ideally on the Camaro you want to keep the front and rear tires as close to the same overall size diameter, since I have heard that the ABS sensor in a panic situation could be confused by the different tire diameters.
