Default CAMARO rear bumper inserts.

hey guys, i have looked around and seen plenty of those camaro insert letters for the rear bumper in silver or chrome. Well my car is pewter and i want some black inserts (the kind that come flush when installed NOT stick out at all). Well whenever i go to find a black one its always vinyl and i hear those arent as good. so my question is where can i find the nicer ones IN black for my car? thanks alot i tried searching and not sure if this is the right thread but i tried! haha

emblempros, no questions asked. i have the black composite letters on the t/a and love em. used to have the stainless fill-ins on the camaro and they were great too.

but, like ^hugger said, the RKSports urethane ones have a smoother transition, although the emblempros ones are pretty much perfectly flush. they're just designed a little different.

Wow, shitty is a harsh word for something we sell all of the time. With no complaints. I also might mention there are a lot of people making these out of acrylic, they just cannot meet our pricing. There are different reasons people buy acrylic. If you want the mirror reflection look in different colors, that is what you want.
We have these in black in the acrylics, and the composites. I guess you could buy the polyurethane puffy sticker decals, that might last you a couple of years. However, we do not sell polyurethane puffy sticker decals.

The ones you want that match the thickness of the recessions of the bumper are the composite ones, and we have them in many colors.
Here is the link if anyone is interested.
http://www.emblempros.com/inc/sdetail/1612 $30.99 Won't find them for less anywhere else.

Thanks, Roger

Another 1 for EmblemPros. Never had a problem with their products! And mastercoryd, don't be lame, you asked for black inserts...not stainless steel inserts. So unless you wanna go with cheepo black vinyl inserts, and you don't wanna paint the stainless steel ones black, going with the acrylic inserts is definitely the way to go.

I got mine from emblem pros.
I love them, but in dark lighting it looks like they aren't even there, I was hoping for a chrome finish that always shows.

Auto trim design is another place that has the one's similar to rk sport. Reflective concepts is another good place. They can make the rear emblems to have the domed appearance. They make good stuff.

In the pic above (bright lighting) they appear shiny chrome

In this pic less light, they just look like plain silver

The mirror stainless letters are just as reflective as your bathroom mirror. They will reflect whatever is behind the car. They catch all of the light available, including the reflection of headlights from the guy behind you. I actually had a set returned form being too reflective. "not joking"
However if you are in a totally dark place they probably will just be black from not having light available to reflect. They do not produce light, only reflect it.

Exact same material in some door sills. Notice the ceiling light, ceiling fan hand camera etc..... in the reflection.

However we do have some glow in the dark material we can get, You may think I am joking, but I am really not.
We sell these in many colors and many materials I cannot tell you which ones you have without your name.
Just remember, if your car is under a bridge, it will not reflect like it would in the sun. In fact in your pictures, they are most likely reflecting the concrete.
Since that is what is around the car.
That's just obvious simple light reflection properties. You cannot change that, and neither can I.

Thanks, Roger

I have owned and seen many sets of inserts from Emblem Pros, the quality is top notch. I wouldn't buy from anyone else. At the right time of day, my polished stainless inserts reflects sunlight and shines the word CAMARO on the ground in my driveway. It's pretty awesome.
