Replacing Steering wheel... questions and help Ok, so, I have a 99 camaro Z28. My stock steeringwheel is kinda broken on one side. The car was dead and we were turning it and it bent, and when I straigntened it, it really didn't like it and the joint on hte right side snapped on the inside. So, It's hte stock steeringwheel with NO radio controls. Now, I've looked on ebay searching for parts to replace it before the left side breaks and It's looks like KITT and then I'm in trouble. So, I looked on ebay and I can't find a replacement for the wheel I've got. No-one sells it. It's the undesireable two point hoop. The one everyone sells nad wants is the 4 point hoop withthe radio controls. Now, Since I can't find the replacement for the one I have, and I don't want to get an aftermarket since I like having an airbag, I have to get one with radio controls. Has anyone on here ever upgraded to the stereo controls before? If i get the steering wheel with the controls, will they work? I'm assuming GM just used the same column for all the cars and it'll be in there already just not hooked up. does anyone know about this? I searched and found nothing. Please help!
