I thought I really wanted them, but then I saw the pic below and I'm not sure at all anymore. To me, they look like complete and total *** on the LT1s and I'm afraid I don't see them looking any better on an LS1.
Anyone with pics?
Preferably on a black car during the day.

Actually, I'd rather have your opinion on how they look. With everything you, Mark, and McNord have done, I trust your opinion on how they look in person. Thoughts?

The top car is just one I found a pic of and it horrified me. The bottom one is mine and I blacked out the original housings completely, then actually drilled into the original housing and bolted the new ones onto the former light. I'm actually thinking of keeping what I've got. I just get itchy for new stuff when my car is down and it was last registered in 08, so you can see, I want to buy everything and have it NOW!
What do you think, keep what I've got, or go with halos?

the problem with those is the ring diameter is too small, so it looks like a little o in a big O that overlaps on the bottom; im thinkin with a .5"-1" larger ring and a bracket that places them center in the foglight hole youll be good. I know ive seen more pics than just those fully head on, just might take some waiting for them to trickle in.
EDIT: also worth noting that to get at the same angle as that pic youd need to be on your hands and knees basically.. i bet that car looks better from across the stoplight, but i do think theyre a bit small (iirc a lot of people use slightly smaller PIAA lights or something that are easy/decent/reliable/cheap but dont fit the car the best.. might be making that up)

LED halos - not very bright in daylight but pretty bitchin' at night.
A problem with them is that if you want to switch them to HID, you need to find H3C (H3 Compact) HID bulbs which cost a little more than more common bulbs, and are harder to find.
One of mine cracked due to unusual circumstances (dumb drivers dropping a glass display case in front of you at 65MPH tends to cause unusual circumstances) so I put them back to stock and finally bought some HIDs.

That's in the works. I actually installed some LED halos on the DRLs but they were too dim and one side failed almost instantly. My goal is to install CCFL halo rings on both the fogs and DRLs and wire them to the side marker lights. The wiring is done, but I need the CCFL's and the protective plastic covering over them so they don't get destroyed by road debris. Other priorities right now...
