Talking Nicest Neon, Accusump, other mods

Hi,
I want to let you know that I have done some mods to my car. I've put in (what I think) is the nicest neon install in my Ram Air intakes that I've ever seen. !Please, I know some of you may accuse me of being "a ricer" and such, but I have only driven Trans Am's since my first car, and I drive in SCCA autocrosses, and I have had my 93 TA up to 145 mph. I'm not a poser.
I've also added some other goodies to the car, including a Canton Accusump (pre-oiler), to keep the engine lubed before I start up over the long winter hiatus.

Check it out, let me know what you think or if you have any questions... Lots of images, detailed descriptions.

Nice job, I don't much care for it, but as long as you like it that's all that matters.

No, well not yet... The neon lights are pretty low wattage. I have PIAA's in the stock driving light position, and they run fine. I haven't tried out the PIAA plus the new fogs together, but I probably won't need them real often. I wanted the fogs for everynight driving, my PIAA "100 mph lights" really kill oncoming traffic, so I only use them when its real dark on twisty backroads (gotta watch for deer around here). I don't think that the extra turn signals pull much amperage, but I have found a pretty serious problem with my wiring (burning out an important fuse after 3 minutes) so I have to fix that. I don't think I need a bigger alternator- I don't have or plan on any big boomin stereo stuff or junk like that. :-)

BtW I will post up the Accusump parts list on my web page soon.

No not at all. They are mounted out of the route of direct airflow, as is the power converter. I had removed the rear air baffle, so now I get more airflow than with it in (stock configuration). Other people may have mounted some more obtrusive lights, but I haven't seen details of their install so I can't really say.

BTW, I have the Accusump parts list up on my page now.

Nice neat job on the installs, but just so you know... while red is illegal... blue is also illegal.

I'm personally impressed with both the factory look of the switches, and the comprehensive wiring instructions. Good job!
