Default painting coils/ cleaning up coil area

Had some time so i tried to make the coil area more appealing visually on the car seing as i can no longer run the LS6 coil covers with my setup.

Before

Coils pulled, and reason I can no longer run the ls6 coil covers

sent these to the parts cleaner and then a final wipe down with simple green

After 3 coats of VHT wrinkle finish paint (availble at autozone) plan on a LONG wait for drying (24 hours minimum)

some wipe down with simplegreen with the bolts and sprayed with semi gloss black and installed

Coils...not the most attractive..

Cleaning

Ready to paint

after a couple coats of krylon plastic paint

Harness with connector and clips sprayed semi gloss black and then wrapped with black electrical tape over the silver heat tape

re-assembled with stainless m6 allen bolts and washers from local hardware store (also painted coil brackets with wrinkle black)

yes, but i would use the heat gun a little more on inital paint aplication, it causes the "wrinkles " to be finer/smaller/tighter
