Default New mod plans

I just found out that my dear, darling wife is getting me a digital camera for X-mas. So I'm going to use it to document my next project, which is a carbon fiber overhead console for a t-topped Z28. There is a lot of space up there, which could be used for display purposes.

In it I will mount the following items:
1. V1 remote display
2. GM compass & external temperature display (like the Blazer and Jimmy)
3. Map lights
4. Alpine CD chager control
5. Power antenna override switch
6. Driver's side mirror and window controls

After all of that, I'll have about 6-7 square inches of useable space left. It will not be within the forward visual arc, so no more display modules can fit comfortably, but can anyone think of anything I may have missed?

I will not mount any nitrous controls or critical gauges there, as I feel that the last thing I want to do at 140+ is look anywhere but directly in front of me.

I want this to be the mod that puts me on the map. We've all see the targa top, the immaculate engine bay, and the killer stereos. I'm just egotistical enough to want to be in that group.

How about a "Turbo Boost" button. Anyone remember Knight Rider? This is a cool mod. I love that show. (Yeah I know the button was actually on the dash.)

Knight Rider...

A complete dash kit on their site sells for $5400!
Thats a lot of money for a dash, but I bet in a complete KITT replica car it would be sweet.

http://www.knightregistries.com/

One of the guys on there built his replica while the show was still on. His car was mistaken for the real thing and he was allowed to drive around the film lot unaccompanied.
