Default Need help on new idea, fender vents...

...so, a customer asked if we could come up with something, I said sure. We're looking to design some type of INSERT ABLE (so you don't have to buy an entire fender) fender vents for Camaros (maybe replace the TA ones for birds).

What style should we go with? These are the three leaders:

Again, they will be INSERT ABLE like the piece on the ACS "Transformers 2" 2010 Camaro's front bumper...

The idea of vents like these are to allow air to ESCAPE the wheel well and not cause pressure (lift) inside. Not to mention they look cool

Thoughts?

Those would be nice for people who wanted to put ram air on their cars like the sux2bu setup, but where would they go?

Like the others, I don't see the pics. However one thing I want to see is some vent grills that sit flush with the fender instead of indenting so far.

I think the ZR1 vents look the best. I don't see how there gonna be insertable though? Personally, I think you should just get McNord to graft some ZR1 vents into the front fenders for the wide body. And some on the rear as well.

LOL, If I'm doing this my vote is for "A", if you have someone else lined up to figure the details out my vote is for the ZR1 style.

How bout option C then? Personally, I think something like A would look good for the rear, which IMHO, SOMETHING is needed to update the look, but I'd like something a little more for the front, but whatever you come up with ill look good I'm sure. Hopefully... lol Only things you've done that I didn't care for to much was on the rear bumper, I didn't like how it was extended and stuff TBH. I like to see some tire. That, and on the front bumper (which I still love BTW since I DID buy one after all, lol), something closer to the Sunoco would have been nice, like with the grill set further back and a little bit thinner and flatter lip, but i understand why you did it the way you did. Personally, it would have been even more bad *** if you would have done something like the ZR1 has with a seperate CF splitter that attaches to the bottom but doesn't look like a after thought.

I say do ZR1 style vents for us 98-02 firebird/Trans-Am guys.

The ZR1 vents are kind of like what came on the 69 Trans AM.

69 Trans am vents

and 69 firebird vents

I agree 100% ^

ZR1 vents on a 98 and up Firebird would look awesome and there is already a place for an insert.
