Default Best way to change seat color

Hey guys. I've seen a lot of great mods on this site as far as interior goes, and I have started thinking of ways to customize my own interior. I wanna start with adding some white accents here and there, and what I'd like to do most is the seats.
It's a 2000 t/a with black interior, and I'd like to have the meshy, center part of the seat and back done in white, leaving the rest of the seat black.
I've heard good and bad things about vinyl dyes, and still kinda wanna avoid it. Anyone know the best option for this?
Thanks in advance

If you want it to look/feel good find a local upholstery shop and have them make some custom covers for ya. Or I'm sure there are internet sites that make custom f-body covers, maybe someone can chime in with a good place.

will look good if done right. i dont know about the dyes, seems like it would come out uneven and darker in some spots, i wouldnt even consider it. only thing i can think of is overlaying some white and stitching it on over top..

This could work nicely. Thanks for the suggestion!

I would get the seat redone to ensure the finish is even. Plus, you can then get as creative as you want when you start from a clean slate.

I have seen a write up on here of a guy stitching up with own, he even put the "SS" logos in the rear seat.
I bet you could probably do it as well.

I'll certainly post pics when I get them done. Not sure how soon it will be, though.
