Default Installing Underhood Mirrors

For those that have them, how did you keep them attached to the hood while the epoxy set? The best way I can see to this is to remove the hood, turn it upside down on some padded saw horses and do it that way.

Any suggestions that don't involve removing the hood?

where did you buy them.

SpecializedStainless.com and Emblempros.com both clearly say on their websites they go on with industrial strength velcro.

You can attach them with the 3M emblem tape. It's pretty permanent though.
The industrial velcro gives you the oppurtunity to remove temporarily if you like.
I used to prefer the tape, but now I prefer the velcro.

Either way will hold them on securely.

Thanks, Roger

I have had mine in for 6 years---with velcro--only way to go--you may want to take them out once in a while so do not permanently attach them. Pics in my Webshots

I bought them locally from a guy that made them in his shop. I was going to use regular mirror adhesive (aka: Liquid Nails).

I guess I'll try the Velcro.

Thanks.

I used velcro...that way, I stick'em on at show's, then take'em off after.
