headlights sealed with black rtv, will oven work?
I have 2 sets of headlights, both sealed with black rtv. The projectors I made have pretty poopy looking lenses, and my old ones are mint.
I would like to switch out the lenses, but I'm worried that putting them in the oven won't do **** because IIRC the plastic will melt before the rtv will release.
Does anybody have experience with this? I don't want to stink up my place if it's not going to work

I used Black RTV on mine and had no issues getting them to release.. I had to clean one on the inside because apparently i didnt seal it well enough so a fog started to form. I put them in for about 15 minutes at 250 and they popped off.
