Something similar happened to my Dad's 2000 Chevy Silverado, had scratches like that along the driver's door and bed from their dog (a 130 pound German Shepard who smelled the bag of burgers from Five Guys).
Good old Menz SIP and an orange pad with patience took care of that - I didn't want to wetsand it since it stays outside all the time and didn't want to remove too much clear.

wow, just like deja vu for me. My ex-wife called me a few weeks ago after we had a bad thunder storm. I guess the 2 shepherds puppies she had got really scared from the noise and did the little dance on the top of her black Lexus sc430. Totally thrashed it like the vett. I had to wet sand it and polish it out too. Pretty scary when you do that not knowing how much clear the factory put on it. But it turned out awesome.
Did you use 2 steps or 3 on the polish? Wool, black foam, blue?

Had a friend that kept their St. Bernard in the garage/dog house cuz he was huge. His Gpa parked the vette in the garage for a weekend, dog chewed up both fenders.

Nice work man, that looks amazing. However, I'm not a fan of those gold accents as it looks like that Lexus fad from the 90's. Are those stock from GM? Cause if not he needs to ditch them pronto!!!!!
Excellent work! Some Korean family would be eatin good one night if I cought a dog up on my car! I DID catch a cat on my car once. I think it thought I was ok with it as I walked up to it. Ever imagine your arm as a baseball bat? Haven't seen that ***** again yet!
