thats what it is, yes its led and its direct plug n play, no soldering

I took mine out as one piece as well, it helped a lot with taking the airbag thingie out first. That enabled me to gain access to a LOT more wire to pull it out. Do you remember how exactly you snapped it out? Screwdriver?

yes i did it with a screwdriver but i did it wth the airbag in

I will have to dive in there again. I got some radio controls from a T/A a while back and I plan on taking the lil' red plasitic cover off the bulbs and attempting to place it over mine. If that doesn't work I'll have the LED's on standby. I also thought about using some clear red fingernail polish on the bulbs. Thanks for all the help....
