i used a 3mm led the same used in the radio and soldered a resistor on it. i had to sand the top of the led a little because it was creating a hot spot and it helped dispersed the light evenly

Thats very bright.. I did my Map Lights and My Dome in bright white and they have a blueish tint to them. Very freaking bright, but dont look nothing like that?

How do you get pics of them at night? My camera hates me.

So all that work and you didnt replace the yellow/red led's on the gauges?

examples check engine light/break light/oil ect...

Its actually really simple.. i did it in mine. Ohh and you can actually do the thing that shows miles aswell. Its only 3 little led's that look like white boxes and you just solder 3 little 3mm leds in the places. Im going to do mine here soon and will make a big *** thread about it.

where did you buy and what size are the map light and the dome light in back for the super brite white? Also, is the swap hard? Plug n play etc or is soldering involved?

I didn't want to do the check engine light and break light, I wanted to keep all of them amber and red. yes I have seen the odometer in blue and I dont like how it looks, just preference of choice.

I got them at Super Bright LEDs
map light is 4410-x9 Festoon bulb 4410-CW9 2.25
dome light light RL 4410-CWHP 9 1.00 Rigid Loop Festoon bulb

Swap wasn't bad everything is plug n play except the the radio, fog light and traction control switches and the steering wheel radio controls

I could get the seek button off, but the two smaller ones below that I could not figure how to separate them. Any advise on how to separate the two lower buttons?

Looks real good and amazing how bright the dome lights are..I ordered some blue LED bulbs from a sponsor here a few years ago, and they weren't no where near as bright as your domes. I do understand that the blue will omit less visible light, but its still no comparison. I wonder if the LEDs you have are simply better now than they were 2-3 years ago when I purchased mine.

if your talking about the radio controls on steering wheel. I took it out in all one piece and then the cirucuit board snaps out of it on the back side

i had really small flat head screw driver, you have to turn it first then it pulls out

^This and this^. U shouldn't have to remove the smaller buttons on the steering controls. Superbright has a single SMD replacement for the headlight switch and there isn't any soldering required.
